Wood Bridge
U Pein Bridge, in Amarapura, Burma (Myanmar), is a place where time has stood still. The bridge is the oldest and longest teak wood bridge in the world measuring 1.2 km long and constructed in 1851 and still provides a vital transportation method for local people.

The son of Vietnamese refugees himself, Dang Ngo has often returned to explore his roots and document the remarkable changes in this once war torn country as it rebuilds itself from the depths of war and suffering. Relatedly, Dang has been assisting Burmese refugees for over a decade and is best known for his photography work along the Thai-Burmese border.
