The series BD (comic strips) was a commission for the illustration of an article about the heroes of classic comic strips, threatened by the new genres of graphics such as the Manga.This series puts into situation the principle characters of his childhood, icons of a whole generation, against the hreats that are in fact linked to their characters or to their passed adventures, or perhaps, their futures. The figurine used in this image is a Plastoy® figurine.

Javelle
Pierre Javelle learns photography at the Fine Arts although he wanted to draw and to paint. His practice of photography brings him turn by turn to be a vender of photographic works, occasional assistant, vender of films, shooter in black and white of armies, wedding photographer, developer of Ektachrome® then finally photographer. His inspiration comes from the cinema, but in particular from comic strips with which he was watered during his childhood.
