Manhattan Bridge dans la brume

About this photograph :
Manhattan Bridge dans la brume
“This photo of Manhattan Bridge was taken in the Dumbo area, in Brooklyn on the day of a snowstorm. On this day I was one of the few people daring to venture outside, especially to take photos. The mist surrounding the second pillar gives an unusual character to this scene, an atmosphere worthy of Arthur Conan Doyle. You could imagine yourself a Brooklyn docker at the beginning of the century.” GG
About the artist :
Guillaume
Gaudet
Born in Versailles in 1969, Guillaume Gaudet developed a taste for travel and the discovery of new cultures during his childhood, which he spent living in several foreign countries, notably in Spain, Argentina and Germany. After a career in public relations in Paris, he joined his wife in New York in 2006. On arrival, he fell in love with this bustling city. As someone who has always been fascinated by photography, the urban landscape and the melting pot atmosphere of the Big Apple is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for him. New York is his favoured playground, where he does not tire of photographing the smallest detail. Through light, architecture or a life scene, in each of his photos he tries to capture a small part of the city’s soul and energy.
